COMPANY PROFILE
Mr. Baijnath in 1958 Reg. his Co. the name style M/s. of
Baijnath Melaram dealing in Iron & steel. He went into scrapping
of vessel country craft & coastal vessel dum barges and coastal
vessel the scrapping process was with the help of chisel and
hammer. In 1964 he introduced his son Mr. Melaram he started
scrapping with the help of new ideas and scrapped bigger
tonnages namely vessels belonging to ship corporation of India
Ltd. A.P.J. lines and Scindia steam ships, navigation Co. Ltd.
Indian Navy and Mogul lines, the great eastern shipping Ltd. The
various types of vessels were broken razing from dreggers
general cargos to name few mines sweepers, military supply ships
and coast guard vessel destroyers owned by Indian navy.
In 1982 Mr. Melaram introduced his son Mr. V. K. Agarwal & B. K.
Agarwal to start the new venture by importing foreign flag
vessel. Which were canalized through M.S.T.C. Government of
India undertaking from than onwards we are in this business
scrapping ships in both the ports at Mumbai and Alang. We have
scrapped various vessels from cattle carrier, reefer vessels,
oil tankers, Containers, Chemical tankers, Research Vessels,
Cable Layers, Naval Vessels, Bulk Carrier, OBO No. of vessels
scrapped is 293.

1958 – The First Generation of Ship Recyclers in India- Mr.
